It wasn’t until she reached her lowest point that she found the courage to seek help. With the support of a compassionate therapist and the grace of God, she began to unravel the layers of trauma and reclaim her voice. That voice—once used to portray characters on stage—is now used to help others rediscover their own. Iyona’s coaching framework integrates faith, identity, and mental wellness to help women align with their truth and walk boldly in purpose. Her sessions are sacred spaces for reflection, strategy, and transformation. Before stepping into coaching, Iyona built a celebrated career as an award-winning actress, playwright, vocalist, and educator. Her original play Diagnosed—a nationally touring production exploring mental health among Black women—continues to spark healing conversations in churches, theaters, and community spaces. These creative roots fuel her ability to connect, affirm, and guide with clarity and compassion. Today, Iyona’s work centers on helping women (and men) move from confusion to clarity, from survival to strategy, and from silence to bold, intentional action.
